Any word on Percy Harvin (1 Viewer)

Silver & Black

I haven't seen or heard anything about his status this week. With Rice coming back and looking very good last week, I think Harvin can be a very solid play in week 14 if he suits up and is healthy. Especially if he is returning kicks.

Does anyone have any info on Harvin's status?

Thanks. :goodposting:

I hope he comes back this week, returning kicks has made him worth starting on my team and the Giants should score enough times to give him the opportunities.

JuddZulgad:Frazier said at this point Harvin "should be fine and should be able to play on Sunday."JuddZulgad:Frazier said just being "precautionary" with Harvin at this point.

Via twitter: "Percy Harvin has an illness and will not practice today. Migraine issues continue. Leslie Frazier said that Harvin should be able to play on Sunday, but said they thought that last week as well."

WHO on twitter? ;)
Sorry about that. rotoinfo_NFL and FantasyTweetz both showed him as not practicing today. Maybe that was what Frazier was referencing in the tweet that said he was just being "precautionary" with Harvin. My gut says he will play, but I'm a tiny bit wary if he is still not practicing.

There is also this, which just came up on CBS rapid reports: "Interim coach Leslie Frazier doesn't expect WR Percy Harvin (illness) at practice. When asked if it was still migraines that Harvin was dealing with, Frazier called it an "illness" and vaguely said, "Yeah, a little bit of some things he’s had to deal with."

Thinking about this situation, I feel that if Harvin can get his migraine under control before the weekend he may be in for a big game. His head may not feel so great now, but all of this time off between last week and this almost insures he is going to be very fresh for this match-up. In return yardage leagues I think he has the potential to put up some very good numbers.

Tom Pelissero of ESPN 1500 Twin Cities reports that Percy Harvin has suffered a setback in his recovery from last week's migraine.

The setback "apparently" occurred in the last 48 hours. Coach Leslie Frazier indicated Wednesday that he still tentatively anticipates Harvin playing in Week 14, but at the same time conceded "That's too far ahead. We'll see how things go." Added Frazier, "My understanding of the migraines is they can come and go. So, we're just being precautionary with Percy."
