Anybody have their car ceramic coated? Cost and satisfaction level? (1 Viewer)

Bought a new 2023 Toyota RAV4 in white and was considering having it ceramic coated while the paint is mostly free of
Imperfections.

Was quoted $1200 for a 2 coat application of "Black Pearl" brand which "supposedly" is a top brand.

Anyone have this done who is satisfied with the results? All opinions and suggestions (and schtick) are welcome.

I drive a rusted 2010 ford focus with no air conditioning so probably not the guy to ask

for that price, I would expect paint correction too. That is really the hard part of the job. It doesn’t provide much protection for the paint. It is more like a very good, long lasting wax.

if you want protection, go for a PPF wrap, although that is pricey.

Wouldn't do ceramic on a RAV4. Really ceramic works best on top of something like xpel. And that's like 4k total. Maybe 5 with inflation idk.

You can get a half way decent shine up and not have to hand wash for life using renew. If I wasn't tied up I could link it.
