I founded a cybersecurity and infosec compliance consulting firm (GDPR/SOC/ISO/HIPAA/pentesting etc.) last year and am learning a lot about running my own business....marketing/accounting/investors etc. etc.

Was just wondering if there was anybody else into something similar so we could swap ideas etc.

Would this be any different than being a 1099 contractor for yourself? Or are you trying to do staffing? 

Nothing much else to add except I'm a software engineer working as a government contractor.  Current contract has mandated I hold a CISSP so I'm studying for that PITA.
