Is the neck issue precautionary or potentially long term? Indy homers????
I don't have any information, but I think it could be one of a few things:Is the neck issue precautionary or potentially long term? Indy homers????
I doubt if that's entirely it (it could have played a part, though). Bradshaw is on a 1-year contract, so he's basically auditioning for every other team in the league; and he has $650K in in-game roster bonuses that he could earn. I'd imagine if he were healthy enough to be active, he wouldn't just say "no problem, I'll take the day off so you can give the new guy the chance to eat in to my playing time."Also, they knew they didn't need him to beat the Jags...Hope that's the case..
Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) is not practicing Wednesday.
Bradshaw's neck injury appears to be more serious than the Colts originally let on. We've marked him as "week to week" instead of "day to day." If Bradshaw can't go in Week 5, Trent Richardson is going to carry the mail against the Seahawks' dominant front seven on Sunday. Donald Brown will be mixed in as well.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) is doubtful for Week 5.
Bradshaw has yet to resume practicing and should be considered week to week. Trent Richardson will remain an every-down back for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.
Was my initial concern on this. You don't rule a guy out on a Friday out of the blue for no reason.w/o it being a long term concern. That it was a neck injury gave me an uneasy feeling on the matter. That he was ruled out (and not doubtful/questionable) on a Friday lead/leads me to believe it's a multi-week issue at the least.
Getting close to this.Do I drop this clown now...and add Andre Brown?
Blounts got the opportunity right now with no Vereen, possibly no Ridley; but of those guys I'd say Bryce has the most talent.Waiver wire is paper thin. What does FBG think about these fliers:
Roy Helu
Donald Brown
Bryce Brown
L Blount
K Hunter
What is is the chances that one of their RB's ahead of them goes down...promoting these guys to a RB#2 status?
For who, DaRel Scott?Bradshaw is a injury risk. Always has been. Trade him now.
