Why would a smart, personable, resolute, "happy-go-lucky" Kenny McKinley — with a college education, a young son, a $385,000 contract and a bright future in football and life — commit suicide Sept. 20, 2010?

Why?

I think I understand why.

I know an older man who eight years ago this month was committed to committing suicide.

That's awesome. I have a newfound respect for Woody. His struggles were likely difficult to reveal, but he's using them to show people in McKinley's shoes that there's another route. That's noble.

Holy crap - I haven't seen this guy in two years. Happened to get home early from work today and landed on Around the Horn. Guy looks horrible - bloated face, crazy hair. Did he have a stroke? Always kind of liked him.

I haven't watched Around The Horn in a very long time but saw this and Woody looks sick. Anyone know anything?

I had some correspondence with Woody a few years ago when my dad passed away. He had mentioned his dad passed away when he was a kid. No mention of health issues though.
