Anybody starting Spiller Sunday? (1 Viewer)

Probably starting him but I'm in a pretty bad spot due to byes, suspension, etc.

Basically deciding between Spiller and G. Jennings....

 
Starting him due to bye weeks, and feeling strangely comfortable with the decision... perhaps it's due to lack of other options.

 
I have 6 running backs on my team. We play 2. He is ranked number 6 in the pecking order. (Again, things I thought I would never say before the season)

Yes, over Chris Ivory and Jonathan Stewart.

I thought I was set w/ Spiller and Jamaal Charles so didn't invest in a 3rd RB.

I too was in the same boat to begin the season. I managed to get Moreno after everyone passed on him to fill the Spiller "void." Now that Moreno is on bye Spiller comes up in conversation, but I will most likely plug in Mathews or Stacy instead. KC is not the place to begin inserting Spiller.

 
Owning Spiller has sucked - He (and Roddy) have killed my FFPC team where I'm possibly benching him behind Donald Brown and Jared Cook for god's sake.

In my other league, it's Spiller vs KC or Mike James at Seattle.

Great options all...

 
No effing way. There's so much working against it -

1. The coaching staff still hasn't demonstrated they will use him right (i.e. get him in space instead of making plow forward in ISO dives)

2. He's probably still not 100%

3.He's playing a top line defense.

That all said, the Bills schedule looks nice from here on out and he could be a nice start for someone making a playoff push. I'd dangle a bone to his owner now I didn't already own him.

 
He's in my doghouse. Rides the pine for Stacy. Would also play FJax and Mathews over him. He is on bench until he gets a sizable workload and doesn't visibly limp on the field.

 
I have Chris Johnson and Mike James plugged in right now over Spiller, but I'm debating James/Spiller. KC and SEA are both terrible match ups, but I think I fear SEA more.... meanwhile James (even with Brian Leonard around) is likely poised to see a larger percentage of the workload. Maybe I'll flip a coin.

Bleh.

 
Starting Ivory and FJax over Spiller.

Still waiting to see CJ "vomiting on the field" as promised by Marrone in pre-season.

 
KC is 5th WORST in the league, giving up 4.7 yards per carry.

Start with confidence, Bills are going to run like crazy and pull off the upset.

I have a feeling the tusk is going to have a big game today in a losing effort but still a big game. He is going to show the Saints they screwed up letting him go.

 
Super weird in a shallow league I'm in. I just picked him up off waivers and let go of Roy Helu. He's my flex option today.

Seriously. Why he wouldn't let Spiller finish off that drive with a TD boggles my mind.

Yea, lets let our UDFA QB in his first ever start, line up in Shotgun at the 1 yard line and throw the ball instead of giving the ball to your pro-bowl RB who just broke it off 61 yards to put you in that position.

Looks good for a guy with a ankle injury against a tough D . Looks fast. Hopefully he gets out of this game without re injuring it.

 
He unfortunately came up lame on his second catch in the 4th quarter. I didn't see him after that. Pure speculation, but I'm concerned he may sit out until his bye in Week 12 if the ankle exacerbation is severe.

I remember the play and he was smiling on the sidelines afterwards so I don't think it was too severe. I was worried myself about that but then they showed laughing and smiling on the sideline

Hope you're right man. He looked good today.

 
With Charles on a bye, is it time to go back to starting Spiller at Pittsburgh? Uncertain about his ankle situation though.
