Anybody worried Roethlisberger (broken ribs) gets hits and leaves the game? (1 Viewer)

I may be a little paranoid, but as someone who has had a broken rib, I think it’s a legit concern that Roethlisberger gets hit and is forced to miss time during the game. Or he simply isn’t effective. Broken ribs are no joke. Should I be concerned or am I just being crazy?

Sure it's a chance and he is the king of being dramatic with his injuries, he  is probably going to look uncomfortable a few times and scare you. But Dr. Chao is saying he will be normal Big Ben, saying you won't notice the injury at all.

I know some are billing this as a revenge game for Ridley but come on. The Steelers likely struggle to run and got to air it out at home. I'm benching relative strong options like Brees and when it comes to injuries I usually err on side of caution when I got a solid option.

Not out of the realm of possibilities that Ben misses a series or two.   But Roethlisberger is a drama king of the highest order;  he lives for moments like this, especially with Brady on the other sideline.

335 yards passing and 3 TDs for Big Ben.

I started Keenan Allen, Lamar Miller and Aaron Jones last week. Lost to my brother in the semi's by 15. So yea.

He'll be fine with a flack jacket probably and bulletin board material from Cam Jordan.  He's going to go insane and have a huge week guaranteed.

Has to be some concern regarding JuJu's groin injury.   That kid has become an elite WR, and goodness knows Ben will need him.

Big Ben in a must win. They will shoot him up he won't be feeling any pain.

Hoping for a big game script for Ben and high scoring on both sides. Rolling with the guy that brought me. My choice was Ben or  Lamar Jackson.

If I'm wrong then I'm okay with that. I think JuJu may not play but still going to roll with Ben.
Not so sure it's a must win.  If Baltimore loses tonight, then the Saints game doesn't really matter much to Pitt.  They just need to beat Cinci next week in Pit to win the div.

y'all might want to check Big Ben stats road v home games he's not all that and a baloney sandwich on the road, just throwing it out there.

this season alone he has:

home -> 18td,6 int, 101 rate. 7 sacks

road -> 12td, 9int, 91 rate.13 sacks

might wanna pull back on the reins just a bit here. ribs are bad enough,but his road stats are troublesome. both,combined,scream BENCH BIG BEN this week

if you want nearly 1:1 td:int ratio in this championship game, go for it.

I was just acknowledging that he’s a drama queen and plays up his injuries, not suggesting anything else.
