rolling Tate out there again this week. I foolishly was scared off of the Le'Veon matchup and am left with Tate as my best option at the flex. Does anyone think he may bounce back this week?
A RB has reached double digit points against NE in 9 out of 11 games this year. In PPR, you can make that 10 out of 11 (only CAR wasn't able to with their platoon).
NE is allowing 4.5 YPC (7th most) and 140 YPG (2nd most) on the season.
Without Wilfork, the way to attack NE is right up the gut. I actually think Tate matches up well against NE's defensive front. NE is -7 but judging by the way Tate has been utilized in the passing game (and how bad HOU has been), that's not actually a deterrent for those in PPR leagues. Ultimately, I believe something like 15/70/0 - 4/30/0 is very possible if not probable.
I'd feel much more comfortable treating him as a flex but I think you could do worse for a RB2.
