Anyone buying or Selling A. Johnson (1 Viewer)

Just curious to see what people are looking for or asking for or getting. I realize the time to get him was probably a week or two ago, but I thought he'd be out for a least another 2 weeks, but rumors about his return this week have worked against my strategy.

Well, I was offered Fitz for him and I'm really struggling with the decision.

Andre was such a beast over the first 2 weeks with Schaub at the helm. I'm hoping to hear some good news today so I can decline the trade.

I'm trying to buy him in all leagues I don't own him in for the playoff run. Guy is a monster.

Johnson had such monster numbers the first two games that you'd probably have to overpay for him now. I've had him sitting on the bench waiting to come back, and he's still only a game's production behind my other WRs. I don't think you could get him for less than a RB2 since the rumors are that he's coming back soon. You might be better off waiting for a down week and then seeing if you can get better value, especially with his bye also looming wk 10, a down or missed week might scare the owner.

I would love to het him, but seems that his owners want too much. Or maybe I wont give enough. Im not sold he comes back to put up numbers like he did in the first two weeks. I just dont see him moving in many leagues.

He will be a grreat player down the playoff stretch, I just cant see many people giving up quality talent for a hurt player with ???.

Traded him for Jacobs in one league and Calvin Johnson in another (not sure why the person did that).

I also have an offer on him for Foster and Williams in my last league.

I am hoping for him to be a playoff monster. I can afford a few weeks of nothing from him.

Im in a holding pattern. Even if he's goign to give it a go this week vs. Tenn, Im going to wait until week8 v SD to get him in there.

It's all about the injury. Can he suffer a major injury in-season and come back to produce at his level prior to the injury? I don't think so.

I tried to get him in a package deal AJ and LJ for Sjax and Housh but the other owner didn't want to budge...I think he'll be back with a vengeance especially since Houston will throw the ball and KWalt/ADavis provide a viable receiving threat opposite him.

He'll be a monster in the playoffs...

Was offered Colston straight up for AJohnson this week in a ppr league, but I'm probably going to hang tight as I already have Brees and Bush and adding another Saint probably isn't the wisest move at this stage.

This is what I offered the AJohnson holder in my league and he seemed very insulted and said that the trade wouldn't help his team (he's 1-5 and has been starting 2 TE's the last couple weeks intstead of a 3rd WR.)So I was curious if I was that out of line with my offer.

I agree, but as I stated in my OP I thought I had another week or two until he was supposed to return (I heard reports of week 11 after his bye and I still think that may be the case, as this might just be talk that he might return this week)

I wasn't insulted and actually considered it for a little bit. We start 2 RB/3 WR/1 Flex, and usually I go 4 wide (Fitz, Driver, Cotchery, Evans) with Johnson on the bench. With bye week issues, I started Owen Daniels in my flex last week. I'm 3-3 and doing okay, so I'm not in the position of needing points now. If I was further down in the standings, I'd probably do it. If I knew for certain Johnson was out until week 11, I'd be much more tempted to pull the trigger as well. If he returns this week or next, I'd much rather have AJohnson.
