Anyone done a draft like this? (1 Viewer)

So me and a few friends were at a bar one night bragging about our FF knowledge. It turned into kind of a challenge and now a league has been created.

It's a ten team, standard ppr, no idp/defense/pk.

Start 1qb/2rb/3wr/1te

20 round draft, best ball all year, no trades/fa pickups.

But here's the kicker, during the draft you're not allowed any lists/computers/phones etc. No draft kit, just a giant blank sheet of paper where we write everyone's picks in. Has anyone ever done an entire draft from memory before? How'd it work out? Is it even that much more difficult? I feel like although I generally use the DD during drafts, it's really just for the ease of it, as most of my picks I have already in my mind before it's my turn. Just curious if it's even fun, or are the late rounds just that god awful? Especially since we're enacting the rule where you must finish a beer every 2 rounds. Should make for a fun league :D

What happens if somebody cannot think of a player? Is there a roster limit on how many qbs/rbs/wrs there are. Seeing that it is best ball, it might be a good play to load up on qbs if there is no limit, if you have four good ones, somebody will blow up each week.

I would think many in the off-season crowd don't need lists except to tick off who has been taken. Plenty of us :nerd: can probably go team by team of skill position players. this would be fun for me.

we did this with FOUR drunken guys....

yep, FOUR. So our teams are all so ridiculously stacked, that it's a pure crapshoot.

Though, wisely, we did limit roster positions to keep it pretty tight.

Oh, drugs...

No issue for many of us...I'm sure we can even rattle off the bye weeks here in a few weeks when draft season is hot and heavy.
