My Wife is but I'm not
football is only here for a short time and is now almost over so enjoy what's left before we're all sitting around watching reruns on Sundays.

They do, about the other kind of football.people in second world countries dont experience this.
How can you be burnt out in football when you don't even watch the majority of the games?I work Sundays 12 - 830. :/ So I literally miss all the games.
Of my 4 cash leagues, 3 are playoff bound. I just am kinda tuned out and want to dance with the girl who got me this far (hopefully she wins me some moolah).
Everything else til' then feels like a formality.
Because I've had to manage these bull#### teams all season, to the point I have no tangible attachment to this season at all.How can you be burnt out in football when you don't even watch the majority of the games?I work Sundays 12 - 830. :/ So I literally miss all the games.

I kinda see what you're saying. I didn't get to enjoy the season, my Fantasy Playoff fate is pretty much determined.
I just want to watch playoffs and prepare for next year.
Kinda, sorta, yeah. Especially now that winning in Fantasy doesn't matter anymore AND I don't get to watch the games, it's like, "eh".I kinda see what you're saying. But I think you have it backwards.Seems like you're the opposite of burnt out---you're unattached to your fantasy teams this season because even though they're winning, you haven't seen much of the actual football that's being played and giving you those points. Am I right, here? Seems like you want to get on with it and get to next year so you can have a chance to actually be attached to the teams you draft next.Because I've had to manage these bull#### teams all season, to the point I have no tangible attachment to this season at all.I didn't get to enjoy the season, my Fantasy Playoff fate is pretty much determined. How can you be burnt out in football when you don't even watch the majority of the games?I work Sundays 12 - 830. :/ So I literally miss all the games.

Why doesn't winning in fantasy "matter anymore"? Maybe you're just outgrowing your favorite hobby. It happens.Kinda, sorta, yeah. While I agree with everything you say about Red Zone, I much, much prefer Scott Hanson over that other joke.I'm at a point where I just watch the Red Zone channel every Sunday. Regular NFL games (and college, for that matter) have way too many commercials, reviews, and penalties these days, but the pure nonstop football porn that is the Red Zone is a fantasy land that ignores these sad realities. Plus, Red Zone commentator Andrew Siciliano is so darned entertaining. That guy says some pretty amusing things during every broadcast.
Just as the first quarter was ending at Tennessee, officials missed a 12-men-on-the-field violation by the Flaming Thumbtacks. During the long commercial break, they failed to correct the problem. Just as the game should have resumed, Chuck Pagano threw the challenge flag. NFL Network then went back into commercial. When it returned -- after festive mid-November ads for Christmas shopping -- officials upheld the challenge, then realized they'd forgotten to switch end zones for the second quarter. A total of nine minutes ticked by before play resumed, just to fix a minor violation that changed a second-and-7 into a first-and-5.
