I am digging deep this week with Ahman, Boldin, Calvin, and possibly Westbrook. Also a few players like Santana Moss on bye. My team this week is already seeing Marty Booker and could get worse if Calvin does not play. We mee see an Andre Davis sighting. If I wait for Westbrook I may even take a zero. Sorry for a venting thread but I think others may be in the same position and maybe you want to vent too.

Highly unlikely. I hear Jacobs out another week and Ward totes the rock.bush and brees on bye, boldin hurt and bush's backup derrick ward possibly out with brandon jacobs in

I'm facing 2 of the best teams in the league this week - we play double headers.
If DWard and Boldin don't play, I will have to start 2 Kickers - Nugent and Stover.

and so I am allowed to divulge my dilemma. With underperforming RBs in LJ and MJD(bye) I also have A. Johnson and Boldin out. Lets see, I have McGahee, LJ and Sammy Morris at the RB spot. Wes Welker cracks the line-up at WR with an iffy J. Walker. I'm going against McNads, S. Alexander, Maroney, S. Smith, Harrison and K. Curtis. Luckily I'm 2-1 heading into this potential bloodbath but I'm definitely limping into week 5 regardless of this week's outcome. Hopefully Dallas can keep winning to help with the numbing sensation of my FF team sliding off the cliff. Cheers!

I read somewhere (Engel's ESPN blog I think) that you don't want too much depth because it makes your line-up decisions hard. That's not true??!

I have depth, but with SEVEN players either on a bye or the injury report, it can get rough

I agree, but in a 16 team league, with 6 top 25 WRs when we start 4 and 3 top 10 RBs (so far, Ward is a top 10), and 2 good QBs I thought I had good depth.When one of your RBs and 3 WRs are injured, one affecting your QB and 2 of your top players are on a bye week, what can you do?

It's damn near impossible to have good depth in a 16 team league. I thought I did with Rudi, Bush & Green so now I'm starting Sammy Morris and either Ryan Grant or Samkon Gado this week.
