Gah! I put him in last minute. Now I have Calvin Johnson on the bench because I was/am thinking C-Pep will be pretty rusty. But come on, I'm sure Calvin wil do better than 1 for 15 yards.

Just traded Edwards and Royal for Cutler
Did the same thing last week. Traded Braylon and Portis for ADP and Driver in a dynasty. BE still 'had' the big name for trade value, but I'd say it's pretty much gone by now.

it seemed to me that Quinn didn't have much faith in BE and looked to Winslow instead. BE has some issues of some kind. bad vision, numb hands, something. I kind of find it humorous that Anderson got benched because the D choked late last week. So they sub in Quinn and the exact same thing happens again. Who is the #3 qb there? maybe he gets a shot next week. LOL MEMO TO ROMEO: qb's play OFFENSE, they are not the problem here.Kiddnets said:

Its a desperation ploy by romeo - he is on his way to getting fired anyway - play the kid and if he looks good it could save the coaching staff. No help for Braylon though - how many targets did he have?
It looks like they are afraid to let Brady throw downfield. If you watched him at ND and saw his terrible accuracy, then you'll understand why. For now while the training wheels are on, Edwards value has evaporated. Perfect buy low moment in dynasty as long as you dont have to start him this year.

I felt good about starting Winslow last night, but Braylon is firmly on my bench. It helps that I have Megatron, Reggie Wayne, and Bernard Berrian as better options.

Not only that, but it seemed Brady locked onto his initial receiver and threw to him every time but once. Collinsworth even pointed out the one time Brady did look the safety off, and praised him for it. He never bothered to point out, though, that he had tunnel vision and forced balls to his first read on every other pass that I saw. He clearly had training wheels on, and it's to be expected he doesn't have chemistry yet with Edwards. Maybe (hopefully) a full week of practice with the first team will improve upon that, but Edwards is now clearly a dicey play.Kiddnets said:

I didn't have much of a choice with byes this week. Started him and Winslow. So if someone would've told me that Edwards and Winslow would get a combined 23 or 24 I'd have been OK with that.

Not sure why I did, but I started BE. Now I have to sit either Moss or Plax. All three are struggling right now, so it's a lose-lose situation.
What's even worse is I sat Cutler for Rogers.

Started Edwards in 2 leagues - I'll probably have to sit Driver in one league, and either Cotchery, Coles, or Burress in another thanks to that bum. BE is definitely entering my Hall of Fantasy Feces this season.

I'm curious, can you guys come up with some other WR's in years past that teased the way Braylon did coming into to this season??? I was absolutely certain that he was going to be top 3 this year. His performance to this point is dumbfounding to me. Yes I am a bitter owner of BE, but honestly asking for some other examples, because I can't come up with any.
Maybe David Bostons career effectively ending after the 2001 campaign where he had 1598/8. He came into the season (disclaimer, just my opinion) juiced up. Had a huge season, and then was horrible. 2003 was 880/7, better than 02, but not 01. To be fair, he did only play 8 games in 02. Still, you asked. Boston came to mind.

He's too talented to give up on. His team is a little inconsistent. He could close with a monster second half. I traded Ocho Nade for him last week. Yeah, that worked out.

I am not feeling real confident with Braylon, giving Quinn's total lock on Winslow last night. I don't remember Quinn throwing down field more than 10 yards..
