Anyone got a pair big enough? (1 Viewer)

I'm contemplating starting Dayne against the dreadful fish rushing D in favor of Frank the Tank. I just don't see Gore doing anything, for example the past two weeks. The Ravens are just going to gobble him up. I know, ya'll say start your studs always but in this case it looks too juicy to sit the niner. :goodposting:

As always, it depends on your options. I almost traded for him a couple weeks ago, and in that league I would bench him this week (but I have LT and Portis).

He's being benched for Portis against the Lions and Im going with 3 WR's. Probably Fitz, Branch, and Roy...but Santonio is very tempting

I think your subconscious is telling you to start Gore... or else you're dropping subliminal influences because your opponent has Gore this week.

Na... I have Frank Gore, Shaun Alexander, Clinton Portis, and Kevin Jones. I have to start three running backs, and so far, I think that I am benching Jones based on the fact that I have no idea how many touches he will get. These defenses are no superhuman... and also, Gore is always a receiving threat as well. San Fran played awful last week, and Gore still had 121 total yards. If I was going to replace Kevin Jones for any of them, it would be Alexander, who can't even receive from the backfield with that cast, and is going against Pittsburgh's run defense.

That same Pittsburgh D that let James get 100+ and a TD?In 2 leagues I have him in, I haven't quite decided yet. Come Sunday morning.............?

Baltimore D is not as good as people think, especially with Trevor Pryce on the shelf.
:goodposting: Never bench your studs, and with the mashed potatoes we all have at RB this season, you still can't bench Gore. You likely paid too high a price for him unless you snagged him in a rookie draft a couple years ago for your local dynasty league.

PPR you still roll with him. Dilfer wont throw far and will dink and dunk. Gore is all the 9ers have, they will live and die through him. You get 30 carries your bound to get 75 yards. TDs are hit and miss.

I could play Jacobs/Ward alongside Portis instead of Gore... but I'll let the NYG backfield shake out this week and run Gore out there again.

If Maroney is out, I'm starting Morris over Gore.

full-time Morris against Browns > Gore (with Dilfer as QB) against Ravens
