It's time to be honest with ourselves that the Pats are a legitimate threat to go 19-0. If they are 13-0 and it is fantasy playoff time, how comfortable are you going to be having to start Brady or Moss???

If you are a team in solid playoff position currently, you should NOT be looking to beef up your squad with a Brady or Moss because there is a serious chance that they'll be mediocre fantasy players come fantasy playoff time.

I do think that Belicheck is vain enough to "make sure" that his team is going to win those last three games if they are indeed 13-0, but I think that maxes you out at 2 or 3 quarters of play from these guys in those weeks, as the Pats will be leading big as usual.

Now is usually the time when the good teams should be looking to trade away some depth for studs with weaker teams in the league and really go for the kill, but where going for the kill involves Brady or Moss, it may backfire in a BIG way.

Thoughts???

Not if they are still without a loss.My bigger concern would be this team is heavy passed focus, when the weather starts to get colder, I can see a decline in the fantasy numbers. How much....I dont know. Just an observation.

I agree the Pats have a legit shot at running the table. As long as the Colts or some other AFC team stays within a game of them, Brady/Moss and company should still be counted on to contribute during ff playoffs.

I'm more concerned with trying to "read the tea leaves" when it comes to Patriots injury reports than whether or not they rest their starters.

It's hard to look into the crystal ball and see how things have shaken out by Week 12+. Will NE still be undefeated? If so, I think they will continue to push for the undefeated season and a piece of history (just like the Colts recently). You do also have to keep in mind the whole "home field advantage throughout the playoffs" too. So it depends on how far ahead they are of everyone else (if they are at all).

I wouldn't sweat it too much (trading for Pats players).
