Anyone seen Donnie Edwards? (1 Viewer)

Donnie is a tackling machine behind the line of scrimmage. He has always been there to take care of anything that gets past the front 4....

Come to Nashville, Donnie

i know....but no one has notified the Titans yet !!!!
ahhhwell the Pats usually do that. Sit back and wait for bargains, let some players' egos get broken as they see they're not as in demand as they thought they'd be.I wouldn't sweat it, plenty of players out there.BTW Edwards is up there in age. Got the cornerstone of the offense last year, why not draft a top MLB this year and get the cornerstone of the D?

I think TEN likes Stephen Tulloch(and so do I) and Edwards isn't a good fit as a 4-3 MLB imo. but Edwards is still a very good player.

no ####, Bri....

^^Grade A idiot^^The Titans are sitting and waiting. Overpaying for big names is idiotic.

you started the topic, sorry for replying

Edwards is going to help some team in 07 I thought I saw a rumor of the Saints possibly talking him into playing for them where he is much needed.

He will not be targeted by the Titans who allready have thier starting LBers rostered. The Titans will be looking at other positions than LB.

I thought I'd hear more about NO/Edwards. That was the single team most closely linked with Edwards last summer when there was plenty of speculation he'd get traded before the season.

I heard an early rumor that KC wants to bring him back to town (never should have let him go for starters)...but i havent heard anything on it since then.

there was discussion during the last season about the saints making a play for edwards. i have not seen or heard anything about him coming since then.

With the former Chargers LB coach as their new D Coordinator, any gossip that the 49ers may have interest?

how old is he now?

I think Patrick Willis in round 1 or Siler or Blades in round 2 will be a consderation. I don't expect Willis to fall, but if he does, they'd be foolish not to jump all over him.

33. By the time the NFL season rolls around he'll be 34. But he's still playing at close to pro-bowl caliber and is still one of the best NFL LB's in coverage and hasn't missed a single game in the last EIGHT years. If you're NO you're very close. You have to make moves that move you from "contender" in the NFC to favorite.

I got the impression TEN really liked Tulloch last season and the only criticism was he got burned on a few big plays(don't most rookies?). Do you really think MLB is such a high area of need that they'll invest that high a pick? Maybe I'm overselling the guy. I'm not the homer... so what do you think?
