I inherited a keeper team in a 16-team league that had the worst record last year. My only goal for this year was to get younger, improve my keepers and make a run in '08, but shockingly I'm 3-0 even though I still think I'll be lucky to even make the playoffs much less do any damage.

I'm the only 3-0 team in my 12 team league and I'm a fraud. I'm 5th in CBSsportsline's power rankings despite the only 3-0 team. I've just been lucky on the 3 owners/matchups. My points against are 2nd lowest in the league. I've won 2 weeks in a row on a player I had in the Monday night game. If I just make the playoffs I'll be happy.

Hmmm, you're right, its not the greatest team ever, but its not horrible. Maroney has been getting consistent yardage (70+ a week first two weeks then 103 last week) and Palmer was going insane for a couple games, and Peterson has been very solid. Gates has been great, and the Vikings D, while not impressive, hasn't been awful. Boldin went off last week and Curry is a solid #2. I can definitely see that team going 3-0 against the right opponents.

I'm 3-0 in a local league with two of the wins coming by close margins. Last week McNabb boned up and gave me high of the week against one of the other 2-0 teams that has been red hot. I should 2-1 but still a contender.

TE: Owen Daniels, Greg Olsen (A bit young here but I can keep Olsen for 5 years at a starting salary of $1 and Daniels has been productive so far)

Again In my eyes a pretty solid team but I have had things go my way so far as well. Week 3 my opponent had TO and Berrian going on Mon Night and I was done and up 40 they scored 37 and I walked away with a 3 point victory. Week 2 I played the last place team and he started Brees instead of P Manning(theres a reason he's in last and 0-3 even with R. Moss) and week 1 I played against SJ who had a poor week and I squeaked out a Victory.

I'm still worried about Bulger but as long as my RBs and WRs keep producing at a high level I should be alright. All I need to do is make it into the playoffs which are the top 6 out of a 10 man league and from there anyone has a shot!! At 3-0 I think I would be hard pressed to not make the playoffs.

I think my poor QB's are eventually going to catch up with me, but I don't really have great depth to trade away one of my starting RB/WR.

Consistent scoring throughout my lineup. Everyone seems to be going 100 and a TD every game. No real big McNabb, kevin Curtis, Ronnie Brown games for me.

Gates has been amazing. It's my 1st year with him. 20+ points every game out of the TE slot is gold.

- Near 50 pointer from Romo week 1

- Two consecutive 25-30 pointers from Minnesota

- Kevin Curtis week 3

- Faced H. Ward & A. Johnson owner this weekend, he plugged in Jacoby Jones

I might not be a fraud, maybe just extremely lucky. But I can honestly admit that there's a few better teams than me in my league with a worse record.
