Anyone starting Delhomme @ OAK this week (1 Viewer)

No Hall, and vs. a bad team that shouldn't have much offensive possession. J.Stewart Q for the game.

I guess the question is how much CAR will want/need to pass the ball. Thoughts?

delhomme IS my usual starter and I played quinn over him this week.

I'm just a little suspicious how this game sets up --- ###-a-smokah is still there, and I can envision carolina running the ball a ton.

Contemplating Delhomme over Peyton Manning, but my gut says to stay with Manning. Having said that, I have a feeling that Delhomme will go to his TEs Jeff King and Dante Rosario more in this game. Look for Carolina to throw more passes in the middle of the field to exploit the Raider's defensive weakness. Muhammad could very easily have 6-8 catches in this game if Oakland keeps it close. If Carolina gets a good lead, expect to see plenty of running which would lower his passing numbers - hence my reason for going with my other QB option.

Starting him over Big Ben in one league, but benching in in favor of Ryan in another. I think they get up big, and so he only throws for 2 scores and 250 this week.

Outcoached myself this week and sat Cutler on Thursday for Delhomme this week.

Keeping my fingers crossed they don't run the ball all day against OAK.

Starting Jake over Big Ben; worried about Carolina getting up early and just running the ball all day, but more worried about Ben getting re-injured and knocked out

Currently starting Delhomme over McNabb -- might be changing my mind before 4, however.

was thinking of starting him over McNabb, but will roll with Donovan.
Interesting how the Philly fan benches Donovan and the Giants fan plays McNabb. Hmm... :goodposting:

I am starting Jake with confidence, and not just cause my other QB's are Romo, Orton, and Schaub. So much for trade value eh.

:lmao: Very interesting. For me if the G-men shut him down I'll be happy cause they'll probably win the game, but if he lights it up for 4 TDs at least there will be a silver lining...

Do you guys ever take into account if your opponent has your QBs number one WR? Oh say, if you had Delhomme and your opponent was starting Steve Smith would it make you more likely to start Delhomme?

Just curious

Delhomme is also MY usual starter, but I am also worried that Carolina will get up and pass even less than usual, especially in the red zone. Of course, the opposite will probablky happen, and I will pay for it...

For those of us that get points for completetions and negative points for incompletions, this is getting epic (considering he has a TD).

That was maybe the worst performance by a "decent" QB that I have ever seen. Absolutely horrible. I was surprised they didn't bring Moore in. Ironically, the only accurate pass I saw him make was dropped by Moose.
