Not sure what to do with this guy. I was only relying on him as a WR3 in a keeper league, but I thought it'd be a pretty damn good WR3.
I may - but dont really have any other options - start 3 and my bench is A battle or C Wilson. May pick up R williams or b berrian or w welker off waivers. Not sure what to do with this guy. I was only relying on him as a WR3 in a keeper league, but I thought it'd be a pretty damn good WR3.
I do not own Galloway in any league (I did last year) but he had two zero catch games last year. He followed the first one with a 2 TD game and the second with a 138 yard game. That may bode well for him.
i'm starting troy williamson in favor of galloway. the bucs play one of the best defenses in atl this weekend and chris simms, for lack of a better word, blows. Not sure what to do with this guy. I was only relying on him as a WR3 in a keeper league, but I thought it'd be a pretty damn good WR3.
So is the Atlanta DTB offensive line is banged up and Caddy is banged up.
i'm doing the same exact thing for the very same reasons. go minnesota!!!i'm starting troy williamson in favor of galloway. the bucs play one of the best defenses in atl this weekend and chris simms, for lack of a better word, blows.
Your receiving corps is pretty bad, unless you're playing in a 16-team league.I'd say it's a toss-up between him and Williamson, but because TB's offense should be better, I guess I'd go with Galloway. You really only have one decent WR in Ward... after that is just a bunch of trash.Might try scouring the waiver wire.dfwboiler said:I might. Randy Moss is bad?Seems like he has 4 WR1s for their respective teams. I agree. It definitely helps when you know who your benching.thank you all so very much for sharing your rosters. riveting..
Well, when only one of them breaks 1000 yards, I'd say pretty bad.Shell doesn't want Moss on his team anymore, and he'll get his wish after the season.Gruden is trying to spread the ball around and focus more on Clayton, because Galloway is gone after this year.Williamson is still largely unproven, and is only the #1 by default because of suspension/how high he was drafted. He still has a lot to learn, and while there's no reason to believe he shouldn't be effective this year, calling him a #1 as if he were in the same tier as Hines Ward is pretty bad. He's probably looking at about an 800/5 average from his 2-4. Just because someone is listed as a #1 does not make him a solid fantasy option.Randy Moss is bad?Seems like he has 4 WR1s for their respective teams. Welcome to the essance of Joey. That's what Joey does - he's a very boom or bust player. Some weeks you get bupckus some weeks he'll be the highest scoring receiver in the league. You can't afford to sit him because there's no rhyme or reason to when he has big games, it just depends on whether he makes the big plays or not, and that can happen against anybody. You should have known that when you drafted him, but now you know.PS. LOL at all the people writing off Galloway after one week.I do not own Galloway in any league (I did last year) but he had two zero catch games last year. He followed the first one with a 2 TD game and the second with a 138 yard game. That may bode well for him.
The ONLY issue with Joey Galloway is that he is injury-prone.IF he is healthy, he should start every single week. When he plays, he produces. Period.
No WR will put up great numbers every week. I never meant to imply that Galloway can do this. You start Galloway every week IF he is healthy because over the course of a season he will put up great numbers. he tore his ACL in 2000 and it affected him in 2001. He hadn't recovered yet. Now, he is healthy and 100%. You start him every week because over his career whenever he is 100% he puts up stud numbers. The ONLY issue with Joey Galloway is that he is injury-prone.IF he is healthy, he should start every single week. When he plays, he produces. Period.0 Catches for 0 Yards ring a bell
Started him in one leagueI'm starting him in one league. Not sure about the other. I have more options in the other league....
Donte' Stallworth off the top of my head has been a greater steal.I swear Galloway continues to be the greatest WR steal in the draft. I can't believe I got him in the lower mid rounds.
