Anyone starting T. Bell this week vs Chiefs? (1 Viewer)

Just wondering how many people might start T.Bell this week vs a traditionally horrible chiefs run D. With T Green out, just have a feeling the Broncos will have lots of scoring opportunities. And yes, i own Portis and Steve Smith, which is why I have to consider Bell in the first place.... :wall:

So is he a good start or am I kidding myself?

Starting a Denver starting running back is never a bad idea, regardless of opposition or relative circumstance, especially at home.

with the knowledge that this may fully push this thread to the ACF, here goes anyway....

T Bell and Coles is my dilemma this week, but I am leaning towards T Bell. He always seems to go big against KC (going by memory here), and should see more carries than normal with M Bell's injury.

Either Bell any week (unless Shanny changes the rotation) is a good RB2/3 start.
I agree with this. I started Tatum last week and this week. He will probably be started most weeks due to the ability to break a long run for a TD no matter where he is on the field.

i would be more than comfortable starting T.Bell over Jordan this week. He is definitely a good RB2 this week.

(in one league, over Reggie Bush - and if you have read anything by me this summer, you know what a strong statement that is)

staring Tatum over Droughns and damn happy about it....I also own M. Bell..but Tatum is just more explosive. I see him going off vs a Trent Greenless offense..

Tatum would run ALL OVER KCs offense, as long as he can outrun LJ. :bye: I agree though, they should be able to get up and stay up...running a lot in the 2nd half.

I was quietly starting him this week and thinking he could be a pretty good play, when all of a sudden, the top CBS Sportsline story appears on our league homepage and screams "Saved By A Bell?" It goes on to proclaim Bell to be the "Start of The Week." Maybe it's just me and my feelings towards Sportsline's general advice/predictions, but now I'm suddnenly thinking they might have just as well put him on the cover of Madden 07. :wall:

Yeah. He's a decent RB2 this week.
Tatum + starting + 20 carries + playing a home + playing the Chiefs = RB1 numbers.......if 100+ yards and at least 1 TD from your RB1 is good enough for you.
I haven't had internet over the last 2 days, so maybe I'm missing something here... but why are we predicting 20 carries for an RB who has never in his career had more than 17 carries in a game? Both Bells are very solid RB2 starts (unless there's some new negative news about Mike's injury that broke in the last 2 days). While I expect both of their carries to be reasonably limited (neither breaks 20 unless the Broncos rush 35+ times, which is certainly possible, but probably not that likely), Denver RBs score so much per touch that even limited carries are a fantasy goldmine.

Starting Bell over Portis isn't brave, it's elementary. There's no need to even go into Bell's situation: Portis will be, at best, gimpy, and he's up against the Cowboys who, one would think, will be tough on defense.

This puzzles me as well. I am no CBS SPortsline fan as far as projections go, but they call him the start of the week, but then have him rated as the #18 RB overall. But I am puzzled why FBG's has him only at 13 for 68 this week. That seems low to me!

I must say I am a little surprised by this (judging by your Bush comments earlier). I am in the same situation, but I do not think I can bench Bush this week.

I had him in mine until I looked at the LD and it said to start DeShaun Foster

I pay em' for the info, so I should use it.

But I'm thinking of changing yet again. Sometimes you just gotta go with the gut.

I hate decisions.

TBell is starting in my flex over Droughns this week. Unless Westy ends up being out due to the bum knee, then TBell is playing in his spot. Either way, Tatums on the field for me.

My top 4 RB's are Portis, Chester, Julius, and Tatum. I've had every combination in my starting lineup that you can think of. As it stands now, 12 and a half hours before kickoff I got Chester and Tatum in there.
