Anyone tried Nootropic supplements? (1 Viewer)

I was wondering if anyone has tried nootropic supplements and what your reviews were.

I was thinking of trying Alphabrain  https://www.onnit.com/alphabrain/?avad=49183_cb48cb69

I am seriously lacking in the memory/concentration department. Enough so that it really concerns me. My wife has told me I should see a doctor for this problem. I was thinking of trying these supplements. After reading reviews I am not sure. I also feel there may be a cheaper route. Anyway I was hoping someone here has already experimented with this stuff.

If you have read many of the threads around here lately I think you would know the answer to this question. ;)

I am interested in this topic though and have looked into modafinil/provigil, and nuvigil (online Indian version). If you have good prescription drug coverage (I don't) you should try out provigil.

I recently started taking an EC stack (ephedrine 25mg and caffeine 200mg) twice a day and it provides great energy, focus, and decreased appetite. A box of ephedrine (Bronch-Eze) costs $6 at any pharmacy and a bottle of caffeine pills is about the same. This method is cheap but you do have to sign a log for the ephedrine and will probably be on a government watch list.

ETA: If you are looking for a low cost option, you may want to see what is available in Nogales, based on your location info that is just down the road. You might be able to find some of the name brand pills for cheap.

I have several people who have tried Noopept with very good results. I went so far as to elicit feedback from on their exact responses. Resulting in multi-tasking and forethought way up. Remembering all the details of the project at any one time, instead of when those details come up. Increased communication ability as words seem to flow easier.

Intimate ECA use (with amazing results over the years), and its not the same mindset functionality. Its energy based.

I tried those Onnit pills a couple years back.  Didn't do ****.  Got a tiny, sketchy nervous buzz, sort of like coffee.   I didn't notice any cognitive improvements though.  So, I started popping them open and snorting them and that made me smart like Einstein, but then I realized it wasn't a really good idea, so I stopped.
