Anyone watch Igawa's last 2 starts? (1 Viewer)

If so, how has he looked? I can read the stats, but that doesn't always tell the story. I saw his first outing vs. Balt and it was horrendous. He couldn't locate his breaking ball at all, so the O's passed on it, sat on his high in the zone fastball and were crushing it. I only saw a few batters in the OAK game and he looked better. But that was Oakland. I didn't see any of last night's game but the statline looks good vs. a good hitting lineup. Anyone have insight? I benched him last night but think/hope he can be a decent source of K's and W's going forward. Thanks

He looked a lot more relaxed last night than he did in the Baltimore game.

I've caught them, I don't know what kind of fantasy impact he'll have outside of wins, but I've been mildy impressed. He's built on each start and last night, I'm chalking up more to the ice cold Cleveland bats, but he looked good. The walk total was down, most importantly, since that was his problem in the spring and in Japan to an extent. I liked his agressivness,

Good to hear. How was his breaking pitch? It's key that he has that working with the fastball.

I know he's not the most desirable guy, but I'm in a 15 team league and he'd be back end rotation. I can take the anticipated hits I'll take with him on ERA and WHIP (with guys like Santana, Schilling, Papelbon, Shields in tow to help the ratios) if he can at least stay in games for some W's and get decent K's along the way.
