AP owners: what is your record? (1 Viewer)

Just kind of curious how other AP owners are doing, since he only played Week 1.

I have him in one league, a PPR auction league, where it is 2-flex, meaning 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex (RB/WR/TE), 1 K and 1 D. I am 3-1, mostly thanks to Matt Ryan and my WR corps of Cobb, Cruz, Andre Johnson and P. Harvin (two of whom are always my flexes). TE has been Niles Paul, although I'll have to go with Gates if Paul is out for a bit. At RB, with AP out, I've been starting Forsett or Helu (both of whom are solid and put up solid PPR numbers). I'm still hoping McKinnon emerges.

2-2. Not having him has hurt.

Big question is are you dropping since there are reports out that he will not play for Vikes again this year? Any reason to hold out hope he plays?

I'm holding on the off chance that he does play. Our benches aren't shallow, so I can afford to let him sit on my roster just in case.

3-1 in one league and 1-3 in another (I replaced Asiata with Ridley this week, otherwise I'd be 2-2). I've kept him on my rosters in both leagues, just to see what might happen with him.

Fortunately 3-1 in dynasty

Lost both AP and Matthews, and now run with Ivory/Richardson. Still holding AP on our IR/Suspended list at half salary

2-2 and my first 5 picks were a near-total disaster.

Peterson/Lacy as protects

Bernard in round 3 (only good thing)

Cameron

Foster

2-2 in redraft. Had to drop him because bench is shallow and can only have 4 RBs total on roster.

Also have him in 3 dynastys, but benches are very deep so have other options so I will not be dropping him in any dynasty leagues.

1-3 :topcat: Dropping him this week in re-draft for a lottery ticket in McKinnon or Crowell. I think he's done for season.

Haven't been as lucky. Lost to teams that started Patriots D for 26 pts on Week 2, Julio Jones for 26 points in Week 3 and Larry Donnell for 20 pts in Week 4.

I also have: Gio, Montee, Bradshaw, T. West and Asiata but the WR core was weak starting off with Keenan, Harvin and Floyd

Oddly, 4-0 with ####e at RB (Mathews, Ingram...both out, MJD, Blue, Carlos Hyde...and Lamar Miller). Been saved by the good play of Miller and the benefit of Luck at QB and WRs of Bryant, Cobb, Keenan. The wheels should fall off this week with RB starts of Hyde and Blue. Still holding AP as there benches are deep and no RB is really available

In the short term, it's better to have a guy like AP who is on your bench rather than a guy like McCoy that is stinking it up in your lineup, so I'm not that surprised to see most owners doing alright. A lot of the first round RBs have been atrocious so far this year. I expect a lot to bounce back, but as weird as it sounds the AP owners are better off at this point. I knew I had to be aggressive targeting Asiata and guys like Knile Davis and Donald Brown. So I'm getting more production than most are with their stud RBs.

4-0 and 2-2 in the leagues that I own AP.

1-3. But this can't be placed all on the head of Peterson. I lost him, Matthews, Ingram and AJ Green all in the same week along with RGIII.

1-3. 10 team league. AP isn't my only problem, every one of my top 5 picks is an underperformer (Martin, VJax, Gronk, Patterson). Oh, and my boy Romo at QB

1-3, but it's not really because of losing Peterson. Lynch is about the only guy I have who's performed like he was expected to.

It's because my QBs have been hurt and underperforming (Cam and Romo), Lacy has sucked, my WRs have all been hit or miss (AJ, Harvin, Allen, Maclin, and Torrey Smith), and Gronk hasn't been himself.

Losing Peterson was just the cherry on top.

4-1 (double header week 3, which I swept with Foster's 0 in my lineup).

Peterson, Foster, Ingram (ouch), Pierce (ouch), and Knile.

Also have Gordon rotting, Roddy always dinged, Vernon hurt and now Paul hurt.

Somehow managed to be 3rd out of 12 in points so far. Wilson, Emmanuel, Alshon, and Vinatieri/Parkey have helped.

3-1 in both leagues where I took AP.

I held him until yesterday in one league, in the other I traded him between weeks 2 and 3 (gave AP/Garcon received Cobb/Asiata)

The 3-1 league where I held him my wins can be attributed to Antonio Brown and Andrew Luck, primarily.

1-3 in redraft. Wasnt bad enough scoring-wise to have high enough priority for guys like Asiata, Knile Davis, etc. Also had Ingram, Junk Bell, & Gronk in the 3rd. Sat Marshall when he was a 75% chance not to play on SNF and he scored 3 TDs. FML
