Was reading an article about hit boxes and picking the smaller characters to last longer and get more kills.  Something I really don't think about, but I see the point.  

Their ranking smallest to biggest:

Wraith, Lifeline, Bangalore, Bloodhound, Mirage, Pathfinder, Caustic, Gibraltar  (this was before the last 3 character updates).  

Their point was that Gibby is about 2.5x the size of Wraith, and that is going to matter when battling it our 1v1 in a tight spot.

I'm about to dig into the Prowler/R99 combo

Melt people in close range, but I couldn't hit #### with those over 40m or so.  

If you use those, male sure you have a Crypto teammate hiding in buildings and pointing out the baddies for you!

I just like playing. Winning is always more enjoyable when you can do it with someone you know. As we get better, we'll start to get more wins.

1.  Stick to certain guns

2.  Dont get stuck under buildings

Either I’m working with one dude and the third is off playing with themselves, or two guys in a party run off leaving me to find them to meet up. This leaves me without time to grab guns and armor. So when I DO meet up they’re already dead and I’m outgunned.

My new favorite. Teammate starts a fight we didn't need to be in. Me and other teammate rush into help him out. Down 2 of their guys but we both get downed and killed. Teammate who started the fight is up on a cliff somewhere shooting with a sniper. Let's the final injured player revive both his guys. 3 healed guys kill moron teammate remaining with a sniper rifle. These people are mentally disabled.

not sure if its playing with people or the jump in quality people, but I go from a 5 kill, 1000 damage win where I get the last kill to Falling in lava and shooting ####ers in the feet!

All personal preference.   Looks like hx mainly uses Octane, I have never played as him but try to use a bit of Crypto and Caustic.

I've actually mained a different character for each season - Wraith S1, Path S2, Bang S3, and have settled on Octane for S4.  

What I like about him is that his speed comes in handy when you are trying to get in a good position for a fight.  His passive heal is also great early game.   You also worry about the ring a lot less when you are using him.

What I don't like is that you have limited options with him when you are surrounded in a firefight, and his ult is highly situational (I often forget to use it).   

Overall if you are an aggressive player he's a great option.

The EMP pulse can be very effective to damage a team right before pushing.

I can see that. Unfortunately, I’m playing by myself with Randos and we’re really not strategizing.

As flap said, emp is one of the better/powerful ults.  

Also, what I have been trying to do is park my drone by where we are and leave it.  It stays there and pings enemies (assuming they dont see it).  Basically a full time Bloodhound for the area.  can always recall it as you move.  Plus use it to get banners.
