Archie says Peyton doesn't want to be Luck's teammate (1 Viewer)

so football message boards are a bastion of grammatical correctness now
I'm not concerned about grammar too much, but I don't know what the hell ofc means and reading a message board shouldn't be a decoding lesson. I know what you meant by "prolly" because of the context you used it, but I have no idea what ofc means. I don't think people should post on message boards like they text others. If you're going to use a smartphone to write a message here, it would be nice if the abbreviations and acronyms could be kept to a minimum.

I would bet just about anything that Luck will be a top 5 qb in the league within 5 years. Probably a lot sooner. He is simply the best college qb I have ever seen all things considered. The dude is basically his own offensive coordinator calling his plays at the line of scrimmage. When you have a qb that can do that and one that is physically as gifted as Luck the things you can do with your offense are infinite.

The only knock I can think of with him and this is an extreme one is that in a few years he may get bored with football and go off the reservation and want to do something else more challenging in life. Its a longshot but thats the only negative I see with him.
He wasn't even the best college QB this year. I think he'll be a good NFL QB, but I don't get the hype.
Tommy Frazier was probably the best college QB in history.

Who was better? Case Keenum? Luck has every important skill that scouts look for in a pro QB.

Archie needs to shut up.A real tool.
I agree. What kind of girls did he raise that they still need their daddy to look out for them?
 Is it possible that you two have some "daddy issues" of your own? Why all the hate on Archie Manning? Seems to me that a guy with the talent potential to play QB in the NFL could do a lot worse than Archie in terms of fathers.

correct, its not about stats when it comes to the NFL scouts. Luck was playing in a TE based offensive and still did well. He was calling his own plays much like Manning did/does at the LOS.

Andrew Luck may be NFL-ready, but the Stanford quarterback — who could end up joining Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts — said Friday that he would have no problem being drafted by a team with an established quarterback.

"I'm sure it would be a positive. I'm sure it would all work out, whatever the situation is," said Luck, who was in Baltimore to accept the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, which goes to college football's top senior or fourth-year junior quarterback.

Russell Wilson and Robert Griffin III were pretty clearly better than Luck, and easy arguments could be made for Barkley, Tyler Wilson, Keenum, Moore and Weeden.
