Are Kenny Stills' days numbered in the NFL? (1 Viewer)

Kneeler since the Kaepernick get go. Now lambasting Fins owner for his political ties and fundraisers. I'm a Fins fan and Stills is a good player. I hate to say it but I think his soul is gonna end his NFL career unceremoniously. It's a shame but I give him credit for following his heart through the $$.

Yep, same as Kaepernick
I agree with this.  People forget Kap was awful the last few years.  The ruling class would have tolerated him if he was a true #1.  But he wasn’t.  Good enough to be a backup and 1B on a #### team.

So he took it on the chin.  Expendable.

Kenny was gold on the deep ball over the middle with Brees, it's too bad the Phins just haven't had anyone with the kind of arm to take advantage of that consistently, not to mention the crazy WR rotation in MIA makes it even more difficult to emerge. Definite potential exists for that with Fitz, but as we all know with Fitz that only lasts a little while. Stills was considered a locker room outsider in NO, after he left it was revealed (natch) there had been bad blood. At any rate he's a terrific talent and he certainly deserves to be in the NFL.

He's a locker room cancer, trouble maker, and a barely roster-worthy talent. They might as well cut their losses and trade him to my Titans for a 2020 7th round pick.  :football:

I’m worried about Brees this year.  Tough sched and no decent #2 wideout.

Good thing Kamara is a god.

Bump Cook.

In all seriousness, Stills might have sat his way out of the NFL. It seems like the NFL really did -- not due to collusion, but most teams seemed to individually decide -- view Kaepernick as a headache that wasn't worth the risk.

Didn't Kaep settle, anyway? I think I was traveling when he did. Undisclosed settlement or the like? Can somebody refresh my memory w/o Google?

I feel like Hank Williams, Jr. just got bumped over the loudspeaker with that take and emoji.

I am indeed ready for some football. Without all the militarism surrounding it that I'll inevitably be more conscious of, it's a nice diversion from the utter garbage going on in the United States right now.

Yeah, Kamara is the #2 WR, he just lines up in the backfield a lot.

Cook will probably be third option, and don’t count out Smith taking over for Ginn  just yet. They’ll be fine.

I’m actually more worried about the effect of the Ingram/Murray switch on Brees. Sounds odd but these days you don’t want Brees throwing too much. Plus McCoy coming in at center. The WR situation was a big factor in the offense evening out last year though no doubt.

Dan Arnold dropping that damned ball in the 1st half was as big a factor in the NFCC  game as that bleep #^#^^~}} bleep %^#^!!!?%€€€ bleeping CALL.

His last year he was a 60% passer, had 16 TDs to 4 picks, and had 470 yards rushing.

But he's not one of the best 90 QBs. Sure.

He's shown zero indication he's willing to be a backup QB.  He was rolling around wanting starters money when this whole nonsense started.

And he's 3-16 in his last 19 starts.  Sure he's better than several backups but no one is paying him the money he wants to be both a backup and a distraction.  We've been over this a million times.

Nope.  It was “a” factor. But the game was over if Helen Keller makes the right call.

Whatevs.  New season. Still the best team in NFC.  Just like last year.  Chiefs are winning SB though.  So more heartache ahead.

Cook could be a top 5 TE. But he could also be middle of pack guy.  Impossible to predict.  Not great value at adp either

The fish don’t need him this year because DeVante Parker is going to break out.  They should cut him today.

Surprised Ross didn't cut him already. He is a marginal talent. They would survive just fine without him.
I'm good with a man speaking up, especially Stills who's a good guy with a heart and a plan. Ross has thick skin. It's clear why Ross is a Trump fan, the big tax cut for millionaires and billionaires and real estate. Ross should speak to Trump about his racist comments. And Brian Flores,  whose parents are from Honduras, should call out Trump for his role in the El Paso shooting if he feels connected to his roots..Most people don't wanna mix sports and politics, including most fans. Stills is courageous and sincere.

Stills won't be cut this year, but he could be a salary cap hit next year.

Him and his buddy settled for 10 mil. Enough probably to pay the lawyer fees. Best money the NFL ever spent to make it go away with gags.  Nobody will be talking about it anymore.

No as long as he’s a good player.  When he’s no longer a good player he will be gone.

Stills sucks, Kaepernick sucks. And if owners don't want garbage like this on their team, it's their prerogative. All this crap about kaep being better than any backup and alot of starters, yeah ok.

With Coutee and Fuller unable to stay healthy or injury free for long stretches of time I'm pretty sure Stills will be WR2 in Houston sooner rather than later this season.

I support Stills and his stance on the very real issues he's concerned about.

Agree..Stills is a middle of the road WR and really not a distraction as he is covered very little by the media. Stills has tried to draw more attention but for some reason the media does not pick up on him like CK and Reid.  Like most middle type of players If he can contribute at a reasonable price he will be on a team, if not he will be gone.
