Are QB fumble for loss recorded as sacks? (1 Viewer)

I thought I've seen QB's recover their fumble in the back field and scored as sacks. Love had two shotgun snap fumbles that he recovered for losses and not scored as sacks. Does anyone know why theses were not scored as sacks?

why would they be? Love fell on them both and gave himself up. they were correctly not recorded as sacks.

TFL but not a sack.

I can not find the scoring guidelines for this anywhere. Both plays would be considered muffed snaps and a fumble charged to Love. In order to be a sack, the scorer would have to have determined it was a pass play. I don't think there was clear evidence either was a pass play. Love was credited with 3 carries for zero yards. I assume the second play where he actually ran close to the line of scrimmage was counted as a rushing attempt. The other one, it is not clear what the scoring was. Maybe just credited with a recovery, but not a rushing attempt or sack?

The second one Love picked up and got it near the LOS, so that was a rushing attempt.
