Are the Giants the worst team in the NFL? (1 Viewer)

I think they are one of them. And they just got worse with Pierre Paul leaving in a cart.

Tb is begging to be in this conversation too.

DET first game at home, electric atmosphere. I think things will settle down 2nd quarter and turn into a shootout.

I am reminded of a few seasons ago... it was Steve Spagnuolo's first year as the Giants defensive coordinator. The giants were blown out in week 1 and week 2. The redskins had their way against the D in the first half week three. Then all of a sudden something clicked, and the Giants were strong on the defensive side for the rest of the year. I think they won the superbowl that year. Sometimes, a new scheme takes a while...Maybe I am an overly optimistic fan, but the giants have talent on on offense and Macadoo comes from a strong coaching tree. I would not be surprised if we look back at the end of the season and realize that things "clicked" at some point in the season.

Must not have watched the Rams yesterday... Either that or The Vikings are just that good. ;)

Giants are better than the Redskins, Cowboys, Oak., Kc( who look to be one of the 5 worst teams) , Jax...but thats about it.Cowboys look really, really bad..

Their O-line is questionable. Eli was horrible last year and didn't look much better tonight. They might have found a TE but their best RB can't block and Cruz was terrible tonight.

Last year they were very inconsistent on Special Teams but part of that is continuity / way too many injuries.

On the defensive side their front 7 is average but Beason is elite and JPP can be when he's healthy. The DBs generally give up very few big plays and might be a top 5 unit.

Based on their strength (defense), they won't be as bad as Dallas, Oakland or the Rams. They're not a playoff team but I think they can compete most weeks.
