Ive signed in to the wifi multiple times and it sats my xbox is connected to the internet

I dont have xbox live its just a standard connection

Tried every fix and spoke to a person from support who could only read cue cards and likely has never even seen a picture of an xbox

I did a factory reset. It fixed the connection but i did not have to dl any updates for the system and im installing nba2k now.

I hope i can access myplayer again. I put a ton of time in to boban and i want to at least win one ring.

Wtf is going on? Other factory resets required me to reupdate

The internet, routers, and Xbox are all quirky.

My router is set to upnp and I've been using party chat consistently for several years now. The other night my party chat wouldn't work. I forwarded the port manually and it worked again. No idea why it stopped working that night and suddenly required me to forward the port manually when it's been working for years without it. Quirky.

If you NAT setting is strict (firewall/many routers cause this) then you connection with I'll often be terrible or not work.

Next time try a hard reset of holding the power button for 10 seconds. Beyond that give it a little while or quit out of the program.
