Now CBS Sports was reporting that he was going to give his ankle a test run today - has anyone seen or heard a report on this, or if it even happened?

(Rotoworld) The Vikings have listed Adrian Peterson (ankle) as questionable for Week 14 against the Lions.Analysis: Peterson personally called himself "80 percent" Friday and said he's willing to take a painkilling shot to play. Coach Leslie Frazier hinted that he already "knows what they'll do" with Peterson on Sunday, although he isn't telling. The Vikings will not put Peterson through a pre-game medical test, so either they've decided to play him or to hold him out. We probably won't known for sure until around noon ET Sunday. Toby Gerhart would start if Peterson can't.

80% of AP is more than 100% Gerhart so I have a feeling he's going to play.

Doesn't matter. It's not about who is better, it's about who is better AND whether or not they should risk injuring their entire future (Peterson) in a game that means absolutely nothing.The should hold him out. Seems about 50/50 as to whether they actually will or not.

Of course they should keep him out but that's not what happens - if a guy can play he plays.

I don't see this game as "meaning nothing". The Minnesota Vikings want a new stadium. The Minnesota Vikings would like taxpayer support. The Minnesota Vikings will put their best product out there. (In a completely pulled-out-my-butt pronouncement)

local radio was reporting he worked out yesterday, and was limping and sore afterwards, official GTD coming
