Vick has actually been getting worse each week. In the first half against Baltimore, he did a nice job of managing the game. Then he was bad in the 2nd half. Against SD, he was bad all game other than one throw and one drive. So far in this game, he's atrocious. He just can't read defenses

Another example of the announcers not knowing the rules. That was a smart play by Johnson to try to advance the ball away from the 2 yard line without risk. And another example of what was technically a penalty (illegal touching) that doesn't warrant an actual flag being thrown.

"Excellent" is overstating it a little but they've made some big plays at key moments. They've been put in an awful position with how bad the offense has performed.
