What I'm surprised about is the signing of Devale Ellis. How bad did Charles Rogers have to be to not make a roster with 7 WR's 3 of them who are undrafted free agents.
I wonder if this is a move that show they are confident in calhoun or if they're going to deactivate Mike Williams for the game to let him know what a lazy piece of garbage he is and let Ellis play in his spot?
Throughout training camp it sounded like Harris was the backup if KJ needed a breather but if he went down for an extended period of time Bryson would carry the load. To me this sounds like calhoun is picking up the offense quiker than expected.
Harris can fill in but not take over as a feature back. Calhoun looked great in the preseason when he got significant carries. My bold prediction: Calhoun will be starting by week 8, due to KJ's continued poor play and injury problems.
Calhoun won't start over Bryson . . . the only time Calhoun looked halfway decent was in the last game of the pre season (against scrubs) in the 2nd half . . .
:whoosh: LOL? Gimme a break. Calhoun was 4th on the depth chart 3 days ago. Everyone knows that "official" depth charts are often wrong, but when you combine Harris' departure with Calhoun's dramatic push up the chart, then the result is obvious. Calhoun is the #2. Next time, check the condescending attitude and uninformed opinion at the door.
