Artificial Intelligence creates new Beatles song (1 Viewer)

I visited my daughter in Hollywood this past weekend and we drove by the writer's strike a few times. We're in the beginning of a labor war. A song has more elements than just words, so it's a slightly different intelligence than just language models used by ChatGPT and other software.

A prominent IT podcaster, James Calacanis, who's devoting all his new podcasts to AI, says most run of the mill podcasts can potentially be replaced by AI. He claims it's the high quality human work that will be hard to replace with AI. But the pace of progress in the AI field is fast, so who knows if an AI program, with a human helper, can create something as good as Myley Cyrus' Flowers.

>>The WGA is requesting that the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) ban the use of AI for writing and rewriting any source material, as well as its use as a source material of its own, and that no AI material be trained on WGA writers’ work.<<

I work in labor. Everyone thinks I’m crazy when I tell them the robots are coming for our workers jobs. You dont need a human to hold a flag or carry materials.

Labor war is here, these old(er) folks just don’t know it yet.

Sorry for the hijack. Keep up the great fake song titles.

Not everything Beatles is legendary.
All I can say after hearing this tune is.
Woof!

The Beatles - Now And Then (Unfinished) [AI]
Finished version...

this are not a Ringo showcase ... his contributions get the short shrift here - the percussion are terrible.

the tune itself are bland as all get out, but it does gain momentum towards the end, so it has that goin' for it.

i'd give it a solid "C"
