Atlanta at Arizona (1 Viewer)

When Ellington gets into the open field, it's easy to see why people consider him special. Cardinals need to find a way to get that guy in space more often.

This year is over, seriously. I've never seen a team so banged up. I feel awful for Tony G who came back one more year for this. How could anyone have predicted so many key players being injured.

Not much Ryan and Company can do. Think about it, their top 2 receivers wouldn't start on ANY team in the NFL at the moment. If White wouldn't have been out I would say maybe we would stand a chance in some of these games but Harry Douglas isn't a #1 wideout. He's a solid slot guy, that's it.

Oh well... at least I'm not getting angry anymore.

Pretty clear julio and white make ryan more than the other way around.
How many Falcons offensive players would start for any other team in football? I see 3 - Ryan, Gonzalez and Blalock.

This is a team with the worst running game and one of the worst defenses in the NFC.

Atlanta's defense is as bad as Ryan's accuracy.
Not saying he has been great today but I find it funny that with so many young and experienced guys that no one seems to think maybe the WR ran the wrong route. Last INT with the WR running away from the ball seems like an obvious example.
How many of those are you going to put on the WR's? I'm not being sarcastic. I'm asking a serious question.

I think you can only put the third one on the receiver if it was actually a WR error. First was a great play by Washington, 2nd and 4th were thrown up for grabs on 3rd and 4th down - effective result on the 2nd INT was the same as a punt. 4th INT was on 4th and 20 with a 14 point deficit and under 4 minutes to go - throwing a bomb is the correct play no matter the outcome. Throwing the ball out of bounds on either the 2nd or 4th INT is not helping you compete.

1st one was a great LB play, guy jumped up and snagged it. Not a great decision since such a small window, looked like the WR had guys closing in under and over neath him.

Honestly don't remember the second one at the moment.

Third I think the WR ran the wrong route.

4th he chucked it up there on 4th and 20 with a guy bearing down on him. No real blame on him or the WR on this one, he had no option to chuck one up and the WR may not even knew he threw it.

Not saying Ryan isn't to blame at all but Douglas in no ones mind if a great WR and he's by far the most productive WR the last two weeks. Can't say I know how many option routes the Falcons run but I'm guessing part of the reason Douglas gets so many targets is he is reading the defense right on those chances and gets open more than the young guys who might read them wrong.
