Atlanta at Baltimore (1 Viewer)

6 yard hitch on the opening play of the game, and the wind drove the ball straight into the ground. Till the weather clears up, this could be ugly.

Yup. Brutal so far, on the heels of a sack/turnover of Ryan while the Falcs were in the red zone.

"Good field position" means crosswinds grabbed the punt and drove it out of bounds around midfield.

So far, Ryan isn't showing the arm strength to throw through the wind. Has had multiple passes just dive into the turf and die.

Flacco isn't as pretty a passer, but man has he got a Howitzer. The difference in the game so far is that he had the arm strength to force it deep and draw a big PI penalty.

Worth watching for the schadenfreude, if nothing else.

What happened to Atlanta? The offense doesn't do much of anything.
Line is down I think 4 starters and even the back-ups are going down. At 3rd deep at some spots

ETA: Also believe Jake Matthews is working through an ankle injury so while playing he's hardly at his best.

ATL gets lucky on a fumbled punt, and immediately, Ryan gets creamed in the backfield again. :X

ATL averaging like a yard and a half per play. 0-7 on third down conversions. It's like Baltimore has the entire ATL playbook memorized and knows the plays before they develop. The Falcs are getting killed here. It's not nearly as competitive as 14-0 17-0 makes it look.

ATL to try the 57 yarder in the gale -- off the crossbar as the wind kills it at the end. :lmao:

ETA: ATL gives up one more big play and a last-second FG before the half for good measure. This team is a total dumpster fire.

Don't need the playbook, line can't protect long if at all so anything deep is not needed to be covered so all they do is sit on every short route and drill the guy. Doesn't help Ryan can't muscle the ball for medium throws either in the wind. Defense really only has to look for plays 8 yards and in.

Started Flacco over Ryan. Looks like right move so far. Unfortunately the wrong move is having these guys as QB options.

Julio Jones has been targeted on only 5 of 33 pass attempts. That doesn't seem like a winning strategy.
Falcons offensive line isn't helping. Julio Jones will be a boom or bust type player all season unfortunately. I own him too and I feel your pain.

Long snapper was out of the game. Didn't want to risk a punt. Plus it was the 2 minute warning in a 2 score game. This is pro football. Don't like them passing? Then stop them
