The Falcons will be featured on HBO's Hard Knocks this summer.
The Falcons could have declined participation because they made the playoffs two years ago. Instead, they chose to volunteer. Hopefully, we'll get a glimpse into Julio Jones' rehab off another right foot surgery and rookie RB Devonta Freeman's progress. The show premiers Aug. 5.

I think it's one of the duller units, story-wise, that they could have ended up with, but at least it's new blood. And of course, all it takes is for one or two guys to have great personalities for it to really blow up.

Any ATL fans know if there are any players there that are going to be unexpected gold on camera?

 
I can't really imagine a more boring choice to be honest. There's really no skill position battles happening at all. The RBs aren't probably gonna change much it'll be a Sjax & Freeman committee. Julio and Roddy are going know where. The TE position from what we've heard isn't going to be the same with Gonzo gone, they're mostly going to write his script out of the book. And we know Matt Ryan is going nowhere. I don't know boring to me, plus all these guys, including Mike Smith are quiet people in the public eye.

 
they will also play up mike smith job on the line...

team was a 17-0 lead from a shot at the super bowl to drafting 6th overall..

That's not true. Sean Weatherspoon just went down for the season, so there will be some intense competition for his starting LB spot. Roddy White is a good trash talker so I figure he'll be fun to watch.

 
I'm interested to see the change to a 3-4

I always like see how the rookies are as well

It will also be interesting to see if there's any heat on Ryan if he struggles early as well.

I think there is a lot of good football stuff to watch for.

Is it the same show the Jets or Bengals will put on probably not.. but lot of good football related stuff

Roddy White might spice it up. He's stupid like that.

HBO's Hard Knocks will be Atlanta this year.

Keep an eye/ear out for Roddy White to show how much of a ####### piece of **** he is while on camera.

Here are some of the types of comments from Roddy White's twitter that we may have to look forward to:

Wow I didn't realize what a complete idiot this guy is. Maybe one storyline will be Roddy trying learn the English language. Nah, why would he bother he made it this far being a complete moron.

Neither did I...I remember one social media stumble, but you could call this a "trend". Kind of reminds me when Marvin Harrison got busted for shooting the guy...seemed to come out of left field. Am I thinking White and Harrison were "good guys" because they just went about their business on the football field and did not pull the diva stuff??

There were even fewer story lines with the Bengals last year and it was still good.
