FoxSports.com's John Czarnecki reports that Roddy White (questionable, head) will be active for the Falcons Sunday.

White missed two practices this week after a practice collision on Wednesday. While this is far from 100%, pencil White into your lineup and check back before gametime. The Bears will reportedly "bracket" White with double coverage, which we're surprised more defenses don't do. Oct. 12 - 8:25 am et

You have to hope that White is in good playing shape today against a smothering Bears defense which can really wreak havoc on a rookie QB's ability to throw down field. If White plays and is double teamed, it could be a long day for White owners who start him.

Sal Pal from ESPN just reported that a Falcons source told him that Roddy White will play today.

Atlanta local radio is still stating that they (the radio people) still don't know if he'll play.

Sal Palotonio(sp?) just said White suffered a concussion, he would play, but he would NOT start. Hoping it's a team policy that if you miss Friday's or multitple practices you don't start and he gets a lot of time.

not questioning you, just pointing out a conflicting report.

Falcons game day live confirms he's active, did not know whether he would start.

This is just team politics. If he wasn't healthy enought to play, he would be inactive. In todays environment, team doctors would not put him on the field if they thought he was in danger. Missing a few plays does not give him a better shot on not getting injured. IMO, tough matchup today, but start him with confidence.

It's cool. I did not take it that way. I was just pointing out there were conflicting reports on him.
