Boller Questionable, Null May Start

Posted by Stephen Rhodes on December 12th, 2009 in Injuries, Rumors

Over in St. Louis, when it rains, it pours – and I am not talking about the weather. With quarterback Marc Bulger out and Kyle Boller nursing a sore thigh, there is the distinct possibility that 3rd-string QB Keith Null may start Sunday. According to the Rams’ Twitter account:

Kyle Boller still nursing a sore thigh. Possibility Keith Null could play and could even start. Boller’s reps reduced Thurs. and Fri.

Looks like a long day for the Rams.

Boller a game-time decisionPosted in: St. Louis Rams Full story: Turf Show Times Sunday, December 13 2009 The latest on the Kyle Boller situation is this: The St. Louis Rams starting QB will go through warmups today. At that point his status for the game will be determined. If he doesn't make it, Keith Null will start. It's a 3:05 p.m. game, giving the team and the quarterbacks a little extra time to wrap their head around the decision. Even if Null does not start today, the Fox report linked below expects the Rams to give him plenty of playing time as the season winds down. If Null does start, he'll be playing behind an offensive line missing RT Jason Smith. the second overall pick from this year's draft is still dealing with a concussion. In fact, there's real concern about Smith whose baseline test this week came back below his original baseline neuro exam. He might not play again this season.Titans' QB Vince Young is 50-50. He sat out practice Friday, but did tell local media that he expects to play this week.(Full Story)

Oof. Steven Jackson looks more and more like a really bad play this week. Seems like the Titans will go 8 and 9 in the box and see what Null can do. Add that to the lack of practice and back issues and this seems a game that could get out of hand quickly. :fishing:

I could have had tickets to this game if I had just picked the other package at our office Christmas party.

I don't expect this to be a good game but we might see history.

So I take Houston in my suicide pool, knowing that everyone else would take Tennessee. I was right.

The Texans won easily, so I just had to sit back and hope the Rams could pull a huge upset.

Then.... something from the legendary WEST TEXAS A&M football program trots onto the field to play QB.

 :wall: :wall:

5 interceptions!
