I am starting a $50, 10-team, Superflex, Tiered PPR Dynasty with a unique start up system and “stick or Twist” rookie draft element. The league will be Best Ball.
The league aims to combine the heavy trade aspect of snake drafts with the “you can get whoever you want” aspect of auctions.
The league will start with a 40 player auction, and each owner will receive a $400 budget. Each owner will nominate 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR and 1 TE and we will auction these players off.
After the auction, we will revert to a snake draft for the remaining players. Whoever has the most money left after the auction will receive the 1.01, and rookie draft picks will be chosen among the picks.
Each year, the rookie draft will feature 8 rounds. Owners may choose to select either a rookie, or a pick from the first 3 rounds of the next draft (for instance with the 1.04, an owner may opt to select the 2020 1.01). All remaining rounds (4-8) will be determined by finish.
I am aware this won’t be for all, but if you want to try something new, this could be it!
