Auction drafts - about how much to spend on each position (1 Viewer)

This is the formula I use in a typical scoring/starting lineup (1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1TE, 1 K, 1 DEF) league:

50% RB

30% WR

10% QB

6% TE

4% K & DEF

Of those percentages, 90% of each should go to starters and 10% to backups.

How do you normally go about this eg 50% on starting RBs, etc?

Not sure but probably a pretty good guess. You might also guess that of the thousands of people that belong to and use this forum, not all of them that have auction drafts have addressed the topic of this thread. That was my wild guess anyway.Gotta admit, sure was a clever reply though :kicksrock:

I don't know how my response came off, but I was more interested in the fact that the new guy seemed to be trying to send you (a veteran auction guy) to auction threads.I got the intent of the thread which was to isolate a specific discussion.

Exactly. I wasn't talking about your initial reply; pardon any misunderstanding.
