If you acquired player X last year for 10 dollars you get to keep him for $10 this year, $13 next year and so on.

Here is the roster I have and salary

M. Montero - 4

Howard - 27

J. Weeks - 2

Moustakas - 0

Reyes - 22

Jeter - 30

Gaby Sanchez - 3

Holliday - 23

Nelson Cruz - 13

Justin Upton - 27

Damon - 0

Nyjer Morgan - 5

R, Weeks - 4

Matsui - 15

Harper - 0

P

Morrow - 3

Halladay - 33

Chris Perez - 8

Francisco Cordero - 8

Kimbrel - 21

C. Lee - 14

Vasquez - 5

Anabil Sanchez - 7

Bud Norris - 0

Team placed 4th last year. What is the play here? Who do I keep and why? Lost at this right now,

M. Montero - 4, I'm usually against keeping C's in 1 C leagues but I think paying the extra couple bucks for Montero rather than settling for a Ramos type is worth it

J. Weeks - 2, think he's over rated in redrafts but at this price giddy up!

Moustakas - 0, likewise

Reyes - 22, pure profit even if he misses 1/4 of the season

Nelson Cruz - 13, same as Reyes

Justin Upton - 27, yep

R, Weeks - 4, nice price

Harper - 0, seriously?

P

Morrow - 3, yes

Kimbrel - 21, tall price to pay but I think he's worth it

C. Lee - 14, yes

Anabil Sanchez - 7, leaning yes but not married to this one. I think he's under valued

Bud Norris - 0, because he's free

Cuts

Gaby Sanchez - 3, hesitant on this one, he can only provide profit at this price but there's better CI's out there. I'd send him back

Halladay - 33, since you have Cliff Lee you don't need Halladay, use this $ on a 1B

Holliday - 23, will be tough to get a profit at this price

Chris Perez - 8, use the $ on a closer that's healthy

Howard - 27, no idea when he comes back, let him be someone else's headache

Jeter - 30 + Damon - 0 + Nyjer Morgan - 5 + Matsui - 15 + Francisco Cordero - 8 + Vasquez - 5, hell no

By my count you've spent 117 of your budget. Your priority in the auction will be a power hitting 1B (whatever it takes), one of the top 5 might not be available but maybe Konerko is. Pitchign wise with Lee, Morrow, and Sanchez you don't need any other big arms. Get a couple in the Marcum, Leubke, Beachy price range and pair them with a Floyd, Baker, or McCarthy type and you'll be golden and you won't have to spend much ($20?). Budget $30 for two closers. You also don't need any of those speed only guys with J Weeks and Reyes in tow, try to get as many 15/15 give or take types as possible. By my count you should have roughly $50-70 depending on the type of 1B you get to fill CI, 3 OF, and UTIL. You should get some quality sticks for that cash.
