Just looked at those requirements and the league I am thinking of is larger (16 team) with a cap and contracts, but i will at least provide the link and allow you see if it is a help to you. Another suggestion would be to go throught the "looking for leagues" from the last couple of months (i know slow and bit of work) and see if there is a league or two which is close to yours and follow the links. http://www41.myfantasyleague.com/2008/home/64557Starting Rosters 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1TE, 2 Flex, 1 K, 3 DL, 4 LB, 3 DB, 25 Bench, No salary Cap, No ContractsStarting requirements for the IDPs?Yes - we are doing a 10 team 45 roster spot initial dynasty no ppr idp league.any info would be greatly appreciated!by the nature the question, I am assuming redraft if you talking dynasty though I can give a couple of links to initial auctions from slow online types.

Possibly. But I would go into your auction treating the IDPs as something that the prices have a lot of uncertainty to and just be ready to adapt. Here are a couple of tricks of you can do as well to manipulate the price. Assuming the first couple of players taken are high price players like LT, ADP, Brady, etc... immediately throw the most-sought after IDP out there. People will tend to overbid on them just because the amount won't seem as much at the time by comparison, and there will be at least for awhile a trickle down effect as other top IDPs prices get compared to that one. Then later in the draft when people run low on money, the IDP prices will come crashing back down to reality. On the other hand if you want the top IDPs, then I'd wait as long as possible to nominate them. I think odds are though that they get nominated when the other prices going on are likely to make them be overpaid. I don't tend to target the best IDPs in an auction, I target the 2nd tier of them. But then, you should always be flexible and willing to take a player who is going for less than you think he should. So would it be fair to extrapolate the following approximate values if funds totaled 1000$ ?Willis - LB - 52$Jones - DB - 38$Allen - DL - $40$
I think you'll find those prices low. I would bet, assuming they get nominated early (and they will), that those players go for a lot more that that.So would it be fair to extrapolate the following approximate values if funds totaled 1000$ ?Willis - LB - 52$Jones - DB - 38$Allen - DL - $40$
I'd agree with this; I suspect that the top IDPs would be about 50% higher ($60-80), with prices after about the top half of starters falling to the $2-5 range. Probably similar to TE scales in that the top 5 or so for each will be expensive, next tier+ mid-priced, and the rest will end up at low levels due to difference in opinion for folks.Earlier nomination of those in the top tier that you don't want will get $ spent, but might drive up prices for those you do want, unless they are nominated late when you can control the bidding.Good luck.I think you'll find those prices low.
