A friend of a friend is attempting to buy a car, and apparently has a better score at TransUnion. They want to finance through a company that solely uses TransUnion for it's score.

Is there a way to determine what auto lenders use TransUnion solely (and not the other credit bureau's) to obtain a consumer's credit score for auto financing?

It can be a mixed bag because lots of lenders will pull multiple anyway plus some lenders will pull a different one depending on what state/region of the country you're in.

If his credit is so sketchy that which credit bureau the finance company pulls a report from matters, perhaps he should re-think buying the car...
