Awesome Draft Board for.......CHEAP (1 Viewer)

Bristol

Just got back from JC Penney. They have a Fantasy Football Draft Kit in the Men's Department that includes a 3' x 4' thick cardboard, self standing draft board with all the labels. The original retail price for this kit was $50.00. They now have it marked down to $24.99 and you get to take an additional 40% off. That brings the final price to $14.99.

Here is eveything you get:

Kick off the season with the NFL® Fantasy Football Draft Kit. You control all the action. Includes: full-color draft board, 500 player labels, including incoming rookies, strategies and tips booklet, commissioner's guidebook, 16 individual draft sheets, 16 draft lottery cards, 16 playoff score sheets, plus bonus playoff and super bowl fantasy game. NFL® Fantasy Football Draft Kit is imported from China.

I bought it for the draft board.

Thought I would share the wealth. Again, you can find it in the Men's Section.

Here's a link to the product (pay no attention to the online price. The in store price is $14.99 after the clearance rebate)

Yea I mentioned this in the post from the guy asking how to run a great live draft. Our league bought this board this year. It worked great. It didn't have T.O. though, so we had to write him in on one of the blank stickers.

Thanks for the info. By the way....where are you located? Is this clearance at all JCP?
I'm in Delaware. From what I understand, JC Penney brought these in for Father's Day. Guess they have been sitting on the shelf too long and they have them on clearance. They should be in all Penney's.No way I would ever pay $50 for this. Most of it is crap. But you can't beat the price at $15 for the draft board and labels.

Sounds like a good deal...... if it's TRUE!
Why would I post something that is not true? That's my MO....to make people run out ot Penney's for no reason
I have a very reliable source on Wall ST. that says you purchased like 6 or 7 or like 9 shares of JC Penny stock yesterday. Well isn't that interesting.............

Online the price is $39.99....any way to get it down to 14.99 ?

can confirm this... got one for my draft this coming weekend. i had to do a double-take with it being so cheap, and also had to verify it was 2006 players, but yes, it's the real deal.

I'm guessing this is for in store sales only seeing that it is clearance.

Does H  ters have anything like this?
:lmao: Awesome!I don't know if H  ters sells draft kits, but I'm sure they'd be more than willing to host your draft party. We go to buffalo wild wings and they give us $100 in free wings because they know how much dough we'll drop on beer.

Just bought mine at JCP at Valley View ( I know, I ducked the gunshots) in Dallas. They had about 40 of them left. It was $16 and some change with tax. Great deal!

Thanks for the heads-up!!!!!

Mud out :hey:

IDP's???????
No.But you could use white 1" x 2 1/4" stickers and print your own and still end up saving a lot of time. If you can't find 2 1/4" wide stickers, just use 2 5/8" stickers and be sure not to print past the 2 1/4" mark.83 QB + 7 blank99 RB+ 11 blank139 WR + 11 blank54 TE + 2 blank33 PK + 15 blank32 DTStickers are more aesthetic than functional (thin white font on colored sticker is not visible from a great distance).I've made my own for the past few years and I prefer the thicker font.Still, all in all a reasonable value and it saves me a lot of time. As Commish of two leagues, it's one less thing for me to do.As of last night, still 30 or so available in plain sight at JCPenney in the Ross Park Mall north of Pittsburgh.

I have used fjfantasy boards for years now... they are the best out there. IMO. Great service as well, MADE IN THE USA

I got one today in Minnesota. There were at least 40 of them. Seems like a decent product for $15. We have paid $25 for a piece of paper the last two years.

Edit to add: Thanks for the tip Bristol!

No problem! It's a deal that everyone should take advantage of.

Bristol rocks. Acted on this tip yesterday afternoon. The JC Penney here still had 20-30 stacked on the floor.

And no coupon is required Mr. Mojo.

I've already had my draft... but this sounds intriguing for next season... we run an auction draft tho and most people bring their laptops...

Picked one up tonight in the Garden St. Plaza Mall in Paramus, NJ. Tons of them left.

$16.04 with tax.

Thanks Bristol.

Can someone post a pic of this thing? Debating on whether to go with this or spend the extra $25 on the fjfantasy board. How well does it stand up?

I stopped by Penny's at the Mall of Georgia last night and picked one up. $15.89 including tax. The draft board itself is free standing very heavy cardboard. The stickers could be better, but for the price it can't be beat. I haven't tried to set it up yet, but one way or another it will work. They had at least 30 left.

Thanks for the heads up.

Got it last night....Go to JC Pennys and get it, well worth the money, I'll take some camera phone pics and post shortly.

It has cardboard fold out triangles to hold it up. Kinda like what was on the back of those cardboard frames your school pictures came in, only on a larger scale.
