Backup storage options? (1 Viewer)

So...the kids manage to just blowout the storage on their phones constantly.  Videos, pictures, apps..all of it.

We have never upped our icloud storage and tend to just backup to PC from time to time.

We currently have unlimited backups on backblaze for our home PCs.

Would just a large storage plan on dropbox be best for doing all of it?

Or keep our current backblaze setup for computers...and up the icloud storage for phones so they can offload stuff and free up phone space?

ETA..yes, I am aware of the differences a bit between storage like backblaze being PC based for system files and all.  And dropbox/icloud being cloud based for like photos/music/docs only.

Is there one that can do both and do it well?

What are some of your experiences with this?

I backup photos and such to my Google account. I have an iphone.  I have them set up as autobackups - all of photos and videos and such are there. iCloud doesn't store stuff permanently so I didn't want to lose anything in case of iPhone failure.

I pay like $2 per month for 100Gb of storage.
