Bad draft, some trades, still the suck? (1 Viewer)

Ahhh spring. Wasn't gonna do FB this year due to the suckage of time and life but got dragged into it (8 year vet). Anyways at the last moment i agreed and had oh about 20 minutes to setup my rankings (we do an autodraft). 12 team money league, i ended up with the 11th pick and my drafted team... well blew due to me not being prepared. Did some trades and pickups and here it is.

C - Pudge

1b - Derek Lee/Adrian Gonzalez

2b - Brian Roberts/ Josh Barfield

3b - Alex Gordon

SS - Michael Young

O1 - Jason Bay

O2 - Alex Rios

O3 - Brian Giles/Chris B. Young

Util - Travis Hafner

SP - Kazmir, Bonderman, Haren, Anthony Reyes, Freddy Garcia, Penny, Padilla

RP - F. Cordero

The league is a 10x6 H2H (it's really a 10x8 but we count CG and SHO so i consider it a 10x6).

I ended up trading David Wright away. Am i crazy for putting my faith in Gordon? And any advice?

Why people still have any faith in Brian Giles is beyond me. If he was playing in Cincinnatti or Houston, maybe...

Rios is underrated/forgotten, and Bonderman still slips under the radar. Garcia could have a strong year as pitchers often do when they end up in the Senior Circuit. I think Derek Lee is going to have a year like he did two years ago -

Your team doesn't stink, but it isn't great. I too am having trouble figuring out what you got for Wright (Lee and Rios?).

I really hated trading wright but i really didn't feel that i had a choice. As i said my draft went really bad.

Here are the trades i did.

#1 Giles - Franceour

Not that i think Giles is great but Franceour is a disaster in our format (it counts K's and BB's). Giles should be alright but i'm certainly not banking on him. Franceour was a drop in my mind so getting anything was a positive.

#2 Uggla, Nate Robertson - Barfield, Contreras

Minor trade. Was trying to dump Uggla bad and this was the only taker.

#3 Wright, Dunn, Wang, Contreras - Bay, Rios, Kazmir, Freddy Garcia.

My OF was a disaster. Dunn, Patterson, Giles/Chris Young. I felt i needed to make a move and to do that i had to move a big name. Might be the wrong move. Encarnacion just got dropped, Crede may get dropped (the guy who i traded Wright to), and Tracy is in the pool so i feel i have a little leeway if Gordon bombs.

#4 Corey Patterson, Verlander, Escobar - Brian Roberts, Adrian Gonzalez, Brad Penny.

I've been working the waiver wire and trades since our draft last week Wednesday(21st) so hopefully i've improved my team. I think my team is middle-tier now but knowing how owner bias goes i wanted to get some opinions.

Anyhow below is my original team. Anybody think my original team was better?
