This is where the Lions miss a quality TE. You get those blitzes and they're covering those screens outside, a big TE straight down the middle that can catch (counts Pettigrew out) would be lethal. Detroit working too hard in the pass game, yards are not coming easy even with a successful run game.

Just patient, I think Baltimore can't sustain drives, they need to hit home runs where Detroit just needs to remain patient with the run game and catch Baltimore on a blitz.

Good teams seem to have their timeouts preserved for those last 2 minutes of a half. Not picking on Detroit but you just completed a 7 yard slant, 2nd and 3, did you really need to call timeout?

Can someone explain that to me?

Now I hear the 12 man on the field, now no flag, now no timeout called…still it shows how mentally not in the game they are. You don't see the Patriots burn timeouts like that.

True but I'd say over 50 percent of those Thanksgiving games Detroit was actually out of any kind of playoff race. I can't count how many free tickets in the last 20 years I've passed up to stay home, not so much the last 3 years. I can't blame the NFL for not putting the Lions on MNF up until the last few years, they've been awful. They deserve a game now as they're competitive but the Lions have a habit to play to the level of their competitor instead of having that ability to put someone away.

I've never understood wasting a timeout in order to save 5 yards.

Wrong number called by the ref and that was a terrible PI call, the face mask was legit, not sure what Gruden and Tirico cannot see on the replay, clearly Smith's head is being yanked down, the PI call was pathetic.

What a nightmare for FF owners, Ravens plodding down the field, controlling the clock and the Lions going 3 n out about half the time. Neither offense looks fluid right now, just a choppy game and wasteland for most of the skill position players not named Reggie Bush so far.
