Baltimore at Miami (1 Viewer)

Brandon Gibson dropped a perfect pass from Tannehill on third down. Miami forced to punt. Ravens regroup for a long offensive drive into the red zone. Steve Smith can't hold onto a pass in the end zone on 2d down. On 3rd down Flacco, under pressure, just lofts it up into the end zone and Stanford picks it off. Stupid throw.

31 yard throw to Wallace wiped out by ticky tack penalty. Miami then luckily recovers Tannehil's fumble on a strip sack fumble. Punt.

Classic Dolphins, They let Ravens drive 96 yards for a TD in the final two minutes of the half. Steve Smith uncovered on the TD with seconds left,

All Ravens since end of the first quarter. Miami cant get any pressure on Flacco and the Ravens are moving the ball at will.

Dolphins first and goal from the 4. Then loss of two on a run stuff. Penalty. Incomplete to a wide open Wallace. And a sack. Miami settles for a FG.

Is Torrey playing or is he out? If he's playing...how's he looking on the field?
can someone update
Anybody??
He's active, but I haven't seen him. It's been Aiken and Jacoby Jones.
Announcers said they didn't think he even had a target so far.
Correct. Flacco has completions to 8 different receivers, but none to Torey. The announcers something about nursing a knee injury.

By the rule I think it was incomplete. Sucks though because if Flacco got that pass away I think it was going to be grounding. There were no receivers out on a route, they'd all gotten held up at the line.

That clear push off by Smith Sr was a joke too. They can push and use their hands all they want. But when a DB burps on a WR a flag is thrown.

BTW our defense is a fallacy. That 97 yard drive before the half? They can't seem to get key stops when we need them most.

Green Bay, Detroit...today. They also ned to look in the mirror. Dolphins are not playoff material.....yet again.

If they don't make the playoffs, which is looking likely at this moment, don't see how Philbin can return as coach next year.

Yes, clear push-off. Also, three illegal man down field penalties - the announcers called two of them ticky-tack. And at least 1 late hit on Tannehill, which the announcers also mentioned.

" Did Torrey Smith Step on the field and play a snap? We have a "Active Scratch" rule for the injury in pre game.. if player doesn't play a snap you can replace him.

Any help would be appreciated.

Up two scores at home and then Miami gets rolled the rest of the game. Horrible coaching. No adjustments. No attempts to challenge the Ravens deep.

Yes, but can Tannehill throw it deep? They needed to roll Tannehill out more and have some option runs, IMO.

Tanny can't go downfield. So we will never go far. Wallace isa waste of money as we can't use his best skill.

If Gibson had held on to that pass, Miami would have had a fresh set of downs in Baltimore territory. They were in total control of the game at that time and could have gone up 17-0. Weird how little things can turn a game around sometimes.

An NFL QB who can't throw deep belongs on the field as a starter? I guess that is why there are Clays and Hartlines on the attack when down in the game late. Steelers don't seem to miss Wallace inasmuch as they have younger and cheaper studs helping rack up big yardage. Am glad Wallace got his big payday and that he and Tannehill have so much chemistry that Landry has surpassed the 60 minute/60 million man.

Steve Smith in the late stages of his career looks far better than what's supposed to be Wallace's prime.

From a Baltimore perspective, I have to LOL at the Dolphins' offensive game plan. Ravens are #31 in pass defense, and 2 of their 4 CBs didn't finish the game because of injury. And yet the Dolphins never once challenged the porous secondary deep. It was just baffling.

Packing it up for the year. I don;t see how Miami wins in New England next week and I see one more loss at home to either the Vikings or Jets as well. Another 8-8 year, I supported keeping Philbin last year, this year he needs to go unless they win out.
