Bama Trio going Pro (1 Viewer)

I find it odd that fans and fantasy owners are calling Ingram the "best RB since..." and the draft gurus seem to be calling him simply a late round 1 RB prospect.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up, and from what draft slot.

Until we see all the underclassmen who declare he is #1. I personally think if Michael Leshore declares he is a better prospect.

Which draft guru's? The ones that said Clausen would be a good pro? As I follow more and more drafts I realize how clueless some of these "gurus" and scouts are. They never learn their lessons. Locker will still go way higher than he has any business going, as will Mallet and Gabbert. None of them will be good pro's. Players like CJ Spiller, DHB and other continue to get drafted higher than they have any business going. I think Ingram is the best RB prospect to come out since Jonathan Stewart. He will be a top 10 fantasy RB from day one and I expect a very productive career from him.

I always refrain from mocking McShay and Kiper. As much as they are wrong, they are right a lot too. I think, in general, they know what they are talking about - a lot more than I ever will on the topic, at the very least. But you could be right. I love Ingram as a prospect and traded a pretty penny for the 1.01 to draft him. I just hope you and I are right and the mock drafts and the ESPN heads get this one wrong.

I agree they do get a lot right too. Just seems like every year there are a handful of guys that you can clearly pick out who will not succeed who for some reason go high. Likewise there is that handful of guys that are almost sure thing locks to be productive pros. I just think Ingram is in the category and I don't really have any doubt about it.
