Barrett Green to Be Released Again: As we reported on March 7, the League rescinded the Giants' waiver of WLB Barrett Green last month because his contract prohibited him from being released before the start of the new League year. That new year begins on Saturday at 12:01AM and Newsday is reporting that Green will be officially released at that time.

what was the prob? contract prohibited it, huh?

Any other players fall into this "can't get cut yet" category?

in the NFL world of no contracts being guaranteed, what exactly do you mean? My understanding is that the low base salary+high signing bonus shpeal every team does is to guarantee a player something, the signing bonus. That would be long done so...can you clarify at all?
